Amaretto Liqueur French Toast n Strawberries

Ok … I know that having liqueur in the morning could be frowned upon – but hey it’s only a small amount and you don't have to have it, do you?!

6 medium slices of Italian bread – any brand will do

1/4 cup nonfat milk

1 fl oz amaretto liqueur

1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract

2 large eggs, beaten

4 extra large strawberries, sliced
